What Are Trump Bucks?
Trump Bucks are commemorative gold bills that were distributed during the 2016 presidential campaign. They are often given in exchange for political donations, but can also be obtained at rallies or other events.
I first got my hands on a Trump Buck at a rally in Pennsylvania. I was curious about them and asked one of the people working the event if I could have one. She told me that they were only giving them out to people who made a donation, so I reached into my pocket and gave her a few dollars.
The Trump Buck is gold-colored and has Donald Trump’s face on it. On the back, it says “In Trump We Trust” and has the American flag. I think they’re pretty cool, and it’s neat to have something that reminds me of the 2016 election.
I’ve seen people selling Trump Bucks on eBay for a lot of money, but I don’t think I would ever sell mine. It’s a fun keepsake from a historic time in American politics.
